Auto Scaling Group

Defines how resources are scaled from a LaunchTemplate.

A group defines the:

• VPC and subnets where instances are created
• Purchase type of instances e.g. On-demand, spot, or some combination
• Number of servers:
  • Minimum the lowest number of servers your system should have
  • Maximum the highest number of servers
  • Desired Capacity
